After my 4 years at Millikan High School, I have understood the amount of stress that high school students go through daily. Whether students get social anxiety or feel pressure from their harder classes, I noticed that all students find refuge in the bathrooms. After doing some research, I found that art can lower blood pressure, and heart rate and improve students' social mindset. I painted 4 walls in the men's and women's restrooms so that when students feel overwhelmed, they are reminded to take a break, breathe, and are inspired by the artwork.
